10 reasons you should learn to speak in English!

Ludwig Wittgenstein; an Austrian-British philosopher who dedicated his life to study  the philosophy of mathematics, the philosophy of mind, and most importantly the philosophy of language once said , and I quote;

“The limits of my language mean the limits of my world.”

In today’s flat world, where business boundaries are a blur and the global market is racing towards being a single entity, the ability to use English has become of paramount importance.

Here I list the 10 most compelling reasons for every person to learn and master the use of English:

1. English is used as the official national language of over 50 countries globally, and in more       than a 140 other countries it is the education and business language of choice. So most of          the world uses English as a common mode of communication
2. The best universities in the world use English as the main language for teaching and learning
3. The largest and most diverse literature in all spheres of life is available in English alone
4. Most of the critical as well as most advanced subjects in education like western medicine, rocket tech, software, nuclear tech and many more are available in English and only English
5. English is understood , if not spoken in almost every region of the world
6. Most employment opportunities, growth opportunities and international business hinges mostly on the knowledge and ability to communicate effectively in English
7. The ability to communicate in English has now become a status symbol and its lack leaves a person psychologically low on confidence
8. In today’s world of social media and networking English is the one and only means of communication which give you the single largest platform to socially network.
9. Exceedingly more and more organizations in local markets, like their international counterparts;  are giving preference to those job seekers who can express themselves with ease in English
10. The skill, knowledge and ability to communicate well in  English gives a person an edge over others in all spheres of life

So it only makes good sense to master English and thus master your destiny!
