Start-up India campaign has been launched by the honorable prime minister with a lot to look forward to in the coming few days. In case the promises made during the launching ceremony are fulfilled many aspiring entrepreneurs; young and otherwise; stand to benefit.
The important question each person animated and happy with this announcement needs to ask himself or herself is what is my true calling, do I have all the ingredients to become successful as an entrepreneur or should I look at making a career in an organization and take up a good job?
Everyone feels in one corner of his heart or another , that it is better to have your own business than to work for someone else. But the reality is that the grass always seems greener on the other side. Having said that I would also like to add that starting a business is no child's play because there are many things at stake when a person takes up the challenge of becoming an entrepreneur.
As you know that time and tide wait for no man and once you waste time on starting a business and trying to make it work and if it fails shutting it down and then looking for an alternate career, this situation has potential to destroy a persons future .
So common sense would say that if you have the inclination, passion, skills, patience and most of all the financial resources ; to first invest in the business idea and then to fund the expenses until you hit profits; than and only than take the plunge into 'businessdom'.
Prepare yourself well. at least do a proper market research, talk to experts and experienced people in business and then make a meticulous business plan.
The more time you spend on planning , evaluating and using your foresight the better will be the outcome of your foray into entrepreneurship.
